Which speech recognition is used
StandardStandard mode
Your browser or phone's built-in speech recognition may send audio to its provider (for example Google or Apple) to turn it into text. Dixi itself doesn't keep audio.
Private mode (where supported)
Recognition runs on your device and audio never leaves it. It's being tested in one demo first. The label beside the mic always shows which mode is in use.
Spoken replies are made by sending the reply text (not your voice) to a voice provider. Full details are in the privacy notice.
