Dixi Voice

About

Why “Dixi”?

Dixi is Latin for “I have spoken.”

It was used to mark the end of a speech – the point where words were said, heard and settled.

That’s the idea behind everything we build. You say it. We read it back. You confirm. Done – and on the record.

Built on the road

Dixi Voice was founded by Matt Quinn, who has run a transport business in Chester for more than 20 years and still drives an electric van on real deliveries every week.

He’s seen the moments where screens fail: arms full on a doorstep, a job alert at the wheel, a car park with no signal. Dixi was built for exactly those moments.

Who we are

Dixi Voice is a trading name of One Fleet Technologies Ltd, based in Chester, UK.

Dixi lets people speak to search and act. It reads back what it heard, waits for your confirmation, gives you time to undo, and keeps a record.

A love of language

Matt studied Latin at school and university, alongside other languages. That interest in how people actually speak – and how easily words get misheard – shapes how Dixi works: clear read-backs, plain words, and nothing happening until you’ve confirmed it.

What we believe

Voice should make work safer, not riskier.

Nothing important happens without a read-back and your confirmation.

Every voice deserves to be understood – pauses, accents and noisy places included.

Proof should hold up, even where there’s no signal.

“Say it. Hear it back. Done.”
