Small words, gentle encouragement

Tiggy responds to a small, fixed list of kind or unkind words. She isn’t a chatbot and never scolds, diagnoses or gives therapy. This is a shared kindness activity, not an assessment of your child.

Private by default

No account, ads, activity tracking, chat, location or leaderboards. Microphone access starts only after a tap and ends on Stop, leaving the page or hiding the tab. Speech is processed locally in short-lived memory, never saved or uploaded. There is no online recognition fallback.

Only hearts, a streak number and the last kindness date stay on this device. The first local speech-model download needs internet (about 43 MB); the model host receives the download request, not your child’s audio or words. Standard hosting request logs may exist, but no speech content is sent to them.

Use together

Please help with microphone permission and the English-only model download. Recognition can miss accents, quiet voices and filler words. Don’t use Tiggy to monitor, grade or discipline children. Hearts have no monetary value or competitive ranking.

If someone needs help

Recognised distress phrases stop the activity and show support contacts, with a prompt to tell a trusted grown-up. It can miss distress: it is not a safety service, crisis detector or substitute for a caring adult. No calls or messages are sent automatically.

Children’s privacy

High-privacy defaults are guided by the Children’s Code. This is not a claim of formal certification. No child profiles or behavioural records are made.
